Several Sojourner members had successful Cross Country seasons this year. The big story was Krystal Harper winning the Utah 4A State Championship. Krystal (a Junior at Orem HS) absolutely dominated the race from start to finish, winning easily by a huge margin. Lauren Stratton also had a good senior season for the tigers. Krystal’s brother Golden also had a succesful season at BYU-Hawaii, capped off with a 3rd place finish at the PacWest Conference Championships that helped his team to the Conference Championship. Danny Moody finished his season with a 21st place finish at NCAA Independent Nationals, helping his team to fifth place finish. Joe Bendoski had a tough season but ran some impressive races, most importantly his win at the SUU Color Country Invite. Congratulations to all these Sojourner Members and their accomplishments over the 2006 Cross Country season.
