Congratulations to another recent newcomer, Carlo, on winning the amazing Vapor Dry 1/2 zip top (70 dollar retail) at our Saturday run from Runner’s Corner. The group was 33+ strong with some going 3-4, the main group going around 10, and the longer folks doing 12-15. If you haven’t heard, your name stays in the drawing if you don’t win and names accumulate every week. However, you must be present to win and your name comes out if you aren’t there! Next week’s drawing-A GoLite jacket among other things! This week’s run will be the LA freeway starting from Memorial Park in Provo (800 East Center Street).
35+ people attended the group run along the LA Freeway last week and fun was had by all. One lucky runner (one of the recent newcomers) took home a free pair of the new Mizuno Wave Nexus stability trainer. This weekend’s group run will start at Runner’s Corner so that Hawk can give away some great apparel items. As with last week, bring someone new and get your name entered twice.

This last weekend (January 10th) we had 31 runners on a great group run from the mouth of the canyon—not bad considering the weather lately! Hawk figured that misery loves company so why not get more people out on Saturday mornings by giving away a pair of running shoes compliments of Runner’s Corner. If you bring someone new, you get to put your name in twice! So bring a friend and come join us on the L.A. Freeway for a great Saturday Morning Sojourners run.
