Just a heads up that registration will close for the Hobble Creek Half Marathon on Wednesday! So if you haven’t registered yet, now is the time.

It was a great weekend for the Harper’s er, um, Sojourners at the Tower Rock Run near Flaming Gorge in Northeastern Utah. Elite Masters Runner and Sojourner Brenda Gray won the Women’s title while Golden Harper took the Men’s 10k title with a time of 31:16. Hawk, Cheryl, Amber, and Summer all won their age divisions with Krystal placing second and Tyson Andrews placing 4th in his division. Not a bad weekend!

At another race in a land far, far away (Mona, Utah) Ryan Gurr and Danny Moody were the top two overall in the Young Living Run Through the Lavender 5k. Nice work Boys!

Several Sojourners fared well at this years Freedom Festival race. Although many placed and had great races, here are the highlights: In the 10k, Mike Vick was Men’s Overall Winner, posting a time of 32:25. In the 5k, Lisa Pratt took home the Overall crown in the Women’s, while Heidi Pestana, Marci Lamoreaux, and Brian Tjeerdsma all won their respective divisions. MANY others placed in their divisions as well. Way to go everybody and happy Independence Day! Full results available here.
