Matt Chatterly heads up a group 2 miles into the race

The Cascadia Trail Series resumed Saturday morning with the Battle at Big Springs 8k Off Road Challenge and it was a blast! Everyone who didn’t come really missed out on a great time. The weather was cool and perfect, the course was fantastic, and nearly every single runner got something great in the prize drawing. Karl Jarvis of the Runner’s Corner Mountain Ultra Team just edged out Runner’s Corner employee Danny Moody for the win and UVU runner Mary Nothum ran away with the women’s win followed by Karynn Bentley and Sojourner Jennifer Hughes who is still kicking butt despite being quite pregnant! Thanks to everyone who came and we hope to see you all and a bunch more people at the Trial on Trail Fifty-One 12k in September.
