So the Runner’s Corner Mountain Running Team is off to a great 2009 start. Karl Jarvis showed his versatility by placing 2nd overall at the Soldier Hollow Winter Bash Triathlon, a unique run bike ski event. This qualified him for the World championships in Austria!

A week later Brian Beckstead took 1st place overall in the Kahtoola 25k snowshoe race. Congrats to these two Runner’s Corner athletes.

If you’re up on the snowy trails, look for our newly sponsored and updated mountain running team members getting their early season fix.  The Marathon is just the beginning as these runners are pushing themselves longer and harder by finding 30, 50, and 100 mile events, usually over the most rugged trails available, to push themselves to the limit. Along with Runner’s Corner, Hammer Nutrition and Golite apparel have hopped on board to support these athletes in their vertical endeavors!
