Warning! Due to increased access to trails the trail running community is on the move. With continued success Karl Jarvis of the Runner’s Corner Mountain Team took 3rd place at the Xterra Winter World 10K Snowshoe Championship! He averaged 7 minute miles over the hilly 10k course with snowshoes. Nice job Karl!

Davy Crockett showed he can go the distance in March running the Old Pueblo 50 miler placing 37th overall in a tough field.

Nearly the entire Runner’s Corner Mountain Team will be running in the upcoming Antelope Island Trail race this March 28th. With 490 entrants this is the largest trail event in Utah.

February is not the most friendly for the long distance trail runner with what seems like forever cold and snowy days….Spring please come soon! However, six members of the Runner’s Corner Mountain Running Team took the opportunity to head south for the 3rd annual Moab Red Hot 50K.

The girls showed who was red hot with Eve Davies taking 13th overall (6th master), Marci Lameroux taking 15th overall (8th master), and Marci Christian 23rd overall. Way to go girls! We can tell who has been out putting the miles in during the winter.

The men held their own with Shaun Christian taking 25th overall and Davy Crockett 18th in the masters division (only 3 people older than him beat him!). Check out his write-up and awesome pictures of the course here.
